FREE SUMMER ADMISSION for STUDENTS
June 10 - August 31
We’re partnering with Mayor J.R. Knight and the City of Hopkinsville to offer FREE SUMMER ADMISSION for all children and students from June 10 – August 31, 2024!
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our young people to learn about our rich local history and culture. I believe that by making the museum accessible for everyone, we are investing in the future of our community. I encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity and explore and learn together,” said Mayor Knight.
OPEN ON MONDAYS
The Pennyroyal Area Museum will be open on Mondays throughout the summer, too. That gives the community and visitors to our community an extra 11 days to explore the museum and to learn more about local history! Regular hours for the Pennyroyal Area Museum from June 10 through August 31 will be Monday through Saturday from 10am until 4pm.
MUSEUM MONDAYS AT 10:30AM
Mondays will feature special programming each week at 10:30am at the Pennyroyal Area Museum, too. Each Museum Monday program will allow student visitors to learn about the purpose of museums while discovering new and exciting details about our community through special presentations and activities like creating their own museum exhibits, studying artifacts, investigating historical events, and more!
No registration is required for Museum Monday programs – and programs will all be FREE to students thanks to our partnership with Mayor Knight and the City of Hopkinsville.
