Summer at the Fire-Transportation Museum

Join us for a summer of fun at the

Woody Winfree-Fire Transportation Museum!

We are planning activities for elementary school kids this summer at the Woody Winfree Fire-Transportation Museum. All programs are interactive experiences that introduce children to local history, and many involve making crafts. Admission to programs is free, but donations are always accepted and appreciated. We hope you’ll join us on the following days:

  • Tuesday, May 7 at 10:30am: Tuesday at the Town Clock with the Hopkinsville Fire Department
  • Tuesday, June 4 at 10:30am: Tuesday at the Town Clock with the Hopkinsville Fire Department
  • Wednesday, June 12 at 1pm: Trail of Tears activity
  • Wednesday, June 19 at 1pm: I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream!
  • Wednesday, June 26 at 1pm: The Architecture of Downtown
  • Tuesday, July 2 at 10:30am: Tuesday at the Town Clock with the Hopkinsville Fire Department
  • Thursday, July 18 at 10:30am: Make Slime with the Little Green Men of Kelly
  • Thursday, July 25 at 10:30am: M&M Math with Famous People of Hoptown
  • Thursday, August 1 from 10am-2pm: Back to School Bash!
