SUMMARY:History on Tap
DESCRIPTION:The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County invites you to History on Tap Thursday\, August 27 at 6:30pm. \nMuseum Director Alissa Keller will present “From Hoptown to Hollywood: Gant Gaither’s Life & Art.”\n\nAfter graduating from Hopkinsville High School\, this son of a local surgeon studied abroad\, opened a theater in Miami\, worked as a producer in Broadway and Hollywood\, and became great friends with celebrities like Grace Kelly. He settled in the resort community of Palm Springs in the 1960s where he established himself as an artist. Two tickets to the gala will be given away at History on Tap. You don’t want to miss it!\nHistory on Tap is a free series that seeks to share local history in a relaxed\, fun setting. Programs are typically held on the last Thursday of the month at 6:30pm at Hopkinsville Brewing Company. \nFor more information\, follow us on Facebook or give us a call at 270-887-4270.
