About Cayce

Born in Christian County in 1877, Edgar Cayce displayed great gifts of clairvoyance that he used to help thousands of people overcome health and other problems. Widely known as the “Sleeping Prophet,” Cayce is credited at being an early force in holistic medicine and in the New Age movement. His lifetime work continues to provide healthy living goals, spiritual ideals, and life lessons today.

Programs & Activities

There are so many opportunities to enjoy! On Saturday, tour the Pennyroyal Area Museum and our permanent exhibit dedicated to Edgar Cayce, grab a Cayce-inspired snack, and pick up books and health products in The Vault by Planters Bank shop in our lobby. Build your own fairy garden kit and make a mandala craft (while supplies last) to take home. Take the Edgar Cayce Cell Phone Tour to travel to local sites and learn more about his life in Hopkinsville. The tour concludes at his gravesite in Riverside Cemetery.
