April 2026 Supper Club

The Supper Club: Inspiring Cultural & Culinary Conversations, is an open group that explores the diversity of our community through food. The club is open to anyone who loves food, conversation, and learning about other cultures through commensality. Sharing conversations over a meal is a great way to bring people together to share their culture, rituals, and traditions. With compassion at heart, our goal is to build belonging in a community that understands and promotes cross-cultural dialogue with our neighbors.
The Supper Club’s next meeting of 2026 will be Thursday, April 9 and will meet at the Pennyroyal Area Museum at 6pm.
Former chef Matthew Brown returns to prepare international dishes based on people who lived in Christian County in the 1930s. In 1934, the Kentucky New Era ran a series of short biographies titled “Our Foreign Born Citizens.” The series featured 29 individuals representing 22 different cultures and who had immigrated from other countries. Museum Director Alissa Keller will share these stories while Brown prepares dishes inspired by these cultures.
They will share stories about a variety of dishes, and guests will have the opportunity to taste and experience the cuisine. Guests will take home a recipe and any unique ingredients required to cook the dish at home.
The cost to attend this delicious program will be $10.00 per person or you can purchase a season pass to attend all 6 programs for $50.00. Dates for upcoming Supper Club gatherings will be June 11, August 13, October 8, and December 10. All programs will be held at the Pennyroyal Area Museum at 6pm.
