Fort Campbell, positioned over the border of Kentucky and Tennessee, 20 miles south of the Pennyroyal Area Museum in Hopkinsville, has one of the largest military populations in the Army. Soldiers stationed at Fort Campbell have been deployed to war, peacekeeping, and humanitarian operations all around the world.
