The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County invites you to our next History on Tap  on Thursday, July 31 at 6:30pm at Hopkinsville Brewing Company for “Outside the Bluegrass: Christian County’s Thoroughbred Farms” with Jennifer P. Brown.

Kentucky’s reputation for breeding thoroughbred horses stretches across centuries and around the world, but most of that reputation connects to our neighbors in the Bluegrass region. Join Jennifer P. Brown, publisher and editor of Hoptown Chronicle, for this exploration of Christian County’s history of thoroughbred farms in the early to mid-20th century.

History on Tap is a free series that seeks to share local history in a relaxed, fun setting. Programs are typically held on the last Thursday of the month at 6:30pm at Hopkinsville Brewing Company.
