Museum to host new monthly Saturday program for children: Saturday Sleuths
The Museums of Hopkinsville-Christian County is excited to announce its newest educational program: Saturday Sleuths! Designed for children ages 6-12, Saturday Sleuths will invite students to become detectives and help solve a history mystery at the museum on the last Saturday of every month.
The first Saturday Sleuths mystery, “The Hibernation Heist,” will take place on Saturday, January 25th, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Pennyroyal Area Museum. A museum artifact has gone missing, and we need help to discover the culprit. Recover the artifact all while learning about local winter history and how it has impacted the wildlife of our area. There will be puzzles to solve and a special winter craft connected to our mystery.
